GCSE Celebrations

24th August 2017

Students and staff at De Lacy Academy, part of Delta Academies Trust, are celebrating the success of our GCSE results for this academic year.  Congratulations to all our students who have worked extremely hard and gained some fantastic grades across the curriculum.  Students dealt well with the move to tougher GCSE grades with record numbers achieving the higher grades.  There has again been a great performance in subjects across the curriculum this year.

The Principal, Chris McCall said “it was a pleasure to witness the smiling faces of proud parents and students as they collected their results.   We are extremely pleased with all our students’ achievements this year.  The examinations results are well deserved and represent a collective effort from students, staff and parents.  We wish all students well in their next steps in education and look forward to reporting more fantastic achievements next year”.

Andy Woodhouse, the new Executive Principal, said “I am delighted that the hard work of our students, the dedication of staff, and the unrelenting support of parents are reflected in the results that the students have achieved today.  I would like to congratulate students and look forward to continued success at De Lacy Academy”.
