Enrichment in Science
Science club has always been popular here at De Lacy with clubs traditionally running on a Monday night after school. Considering the new Covid restrictions, our Science team have set up a Virtual Science Club which enables all students, regardless of year group, to take part in experiments at home. Each student collects their home learning kit from their science teacher and logs on to the virtual class.
Science club allows students to engage with science topics and experience practical activities that are not covered by the National Curriculum. Science club activities have included making rockets, egg drop competition and rat dissection, along with especially themed activities such as making sparklers for bonfire night.
